Sunnah 111: Allah is sufficient (dhikr)

September 19, 2010

The Prophet (pbuh) said, “Whoever says:

‘Allah is sufficient for me. I have placed my trust in Him, He is the Lord of the Majestic Throne.’

seven times in the morning and evening, Allah will spare him what worries him” [Abu Dawud]

The Prophet (pbuh) had daily remembrances that he would recite in the morning and evening. We should attempt to memorize at least some of them and reflect over their meanings to ensure that we are in constant remembrance of Allah.
